“Between twelve testing stations ranging from brakes to fifth wheel to fasteners and a 100 question written test, competitors’ knowledge was tested in all areas of diesel mechanics.”

The first annual Utah SuperTech Challenge was a huge success! True to our standard, Utah set the national record for the number of participants in a state competition in their first year with thirty-three total competitors.

Between twelve testing stations ranging from brakes to fifth wheel to fasteners and a 100 question written test, competitors’ knowledge was tested in all areas of diesel mechanics. Each station sponsor offered a prize to the student winner and professional winner of their station and the top three overall scores in both divisions were laden with prizes.
